OCRYL PLATFORM MIGRATION

Ocryl came to totalsurf having been referred by Ad-Extra, a long-term, trusted referral partner of ours who specialise in Google Ads and Facebook ads. Ocryl initially had a website – that they had designed and put together themselves – which was built in Wix.

The problem they were having was that they couldn’t get many of the tracking and goals properly aligned across Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager and through Google Ads campaigns.

Also, there were many things within the Wix framework that Ocryl couldn’t get working, which were causing them problems. They also weren’t ranking for anything valuable SEO-wise and were missing out on achieving organic traffic that converts. Ad-Extra recommended that Ocryl consult us for a website rebuild.

The client was happy with the design, but the problem was that the back-end proved too restrictive for them, and the functionality left a lot to be desired. So we cannot take any credit for the design, instead opting to migrate their website design from Wix into a WordPress solution.

The WordPress back-end would give the client the power and ability to do far more, upload or edit pages and content easily, and most importantly, it would be Google-friendly.

We provided some basic SEO for Ocryl, giving them advice on what they can do in terms of updates. We also trained the client on editing their site pages, uploading new content, and more. We also helped set things up properly in Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console and Google Analytics so that their goals were more aligned with their Google Ads PPC campaigns.

This, in turn, helped them track their spend on Google Ads and work out who was visiting the website, as well as who was converting.

We also oversee the website hosting, security, maintenance, patching and ongoing WordPress updates.
