TRACLOGIK CONTENT & SEO

TracLogik is the UK’s leading provider of asset tracking and asset management solutions for industries including healthcare, construction, logistics, aviation, manufacturing, transport and security.

If you’re looking for RTLS, RFID trackers or Bluetooth, WiFi or GPS tracking systems, TracLogik can provide you with the technology and an easy management platform. They needed to convey that on their website

TracLogik initially had two sites, one of which was ostensibly a box-shifter which is where they sold their Bluetooth, RFID, WiFi and GPS trackers. The other was where people could enquire about their professional services and consultancy. The products themselves were not the most significant income generator; rather, their whole asset tracking software, which integrates disparate platforms. TracLogik also provides ongoing support, consultancy, and maintenance, which is where most of their business comes from.

When they came to totalsurf, they were initially after a brand new website. During our initial conversations, we discussed why they should be considering a comprehensive, robust SEO strategy before they begin to look at a brand new website. Ultimately, what good is a brand new website if you don’t consider how people are going to find it? Without looking at the keywords you could be ranking for, the related search terms around these keywords, and the questions people ask around asset tracking, what good will that new website be?

TracLogik understood the need to invest properly in SEO before splashing out on a brand new website. totalsurf began deep keyword research and came up with a content strategy that TracLogik should implement to maximise their chances of landing on Page 1 of Google, and achieving viable organic traffic that converts.

In early 2020, we were ready to begin the website build process, but the COVID-19 pandemic put the kibosh on that part of the project. TracLogik, like many other businesses, found themselves with more time on their hands, and thus decided to design and build the website themselves.

However, they recognised the valuable work we had done up to that point, and requested they still use us for technical consultancy, SEO, content strategy and copywriting.

The TracLogik website, built in an ASP.net content management system, consists of pages that the client has designed themselves. We cannot take any credit or responsibility for the design, but our technical SEO expertise has helped these pages significantly. We worked closely with them on the whole project, giving feedback on page layout, positioning of various website elements, schema markup, UX and technical SEO strategies. We are also continuing to provide content for the client’s individual pages, on anything from forklift asset tracking to airport security assets, to give each page the maximum ranking potential.

Until we started writing content, the client had already found some time to write some of the content themselves. This has already had a significant impact on their SEO, where (at the time of writing) they are currently in position 1 for “Bluetooth asset tracking” in the whole of the UK. They’re also in position 3 for “hospital asset tracking”, which is a hugely important solution for them.

It’s excellent to work with such a receptive, smart client who takes our technical SEO advice and implements the strategy we recommend. It’s already paying off positively. What’s more, with even more service pages and supporting material on the way, it’s only going to have even more of a positive impact.
