In what began as a simple way to unwind and let off steam after a busy work month, totalsurf’s gaming tournament has evolved into a highly anticipated event that brings out the competitive spirit in our team of SEO boffins and copywriters.
Split into two opposing factions, the Terrorists and the Counter-Terrorists, our latest competition involved completing objectives like securing locations to plant or defuse bombs and rescuing or guarding hostages, earning in-game currency based on their performance to purchase more powerful weapons. Congrats go to our new IT Technical Sales Executive, Harrison Parrish (pictured right), who scooped the trophy as the top player.
During the tournament, the competitive atmosphere is palpable, with team members bringing in their own controllers and headsets from home to gain any possible advantage over their colleagues. Despite the intensity, the event serves a greater purpose within the company culture.
